I've always struggled with using an "About Me" section, as this isn't about me but is always about the client. It would be so preferable to have websites shed themselves of "about me" sections and instead have "what clients are saying" sections. Now, because I'm supposed to write something, I'll give you my elevator pitch: I'm a third-generation real estate broker whose family has been representing buyers and sellers in California since 1967. I went off to college and got a four-year college degree in real estate. I'm passionate about this field and serving others and grew up in a home where both mom and dad had their broker's license. I actually started holding open houses for my mom when I was 8 years old. I know, that sounds completely illogical and made up, but there are many witnesses. Back in 1978, the world was very different. Mom would drop me off at homes and I would hand out cookies, pour lemonade and get paid hourly to greet people and walk them around her listings. I always knew I wanted to be a Realtor when I grew up and that's precisely what I did. My clients continue to give me 5-star ratings on all the websites and I've never had a review less than 5 stars. What I enjoy most is tenacious negotiation for buyers and sellers, properly staging and marketing a home, and I particularly love meeting folks who desire to relocate to San Diego.
