I arrived on the Island of Lana'i over 50 years ago, so I have a vast knowledge of the island and all that it has to offer. I originally came to Lana'i as a school teacher, met my husband here on the island, taught school at Lanai High & Elementary School for over 25 years, and started working in real estate while still teaching. At that time there were almost no homes for sale here. After my teaching career, I started my own real estate company and have worked in real estate since. As Broker for Okamoto Realty LLC, I list and sell homes mostly on the Island of Lanai; however we do some sales on the island of Maui also. I was the exclusive listing agent for the developer of luxury real estate at Manele and Koele from April 1998 to January 2005. I currently have 3 agents who work under my direct supervision. We concentrate on listing and sales on the island of Lana'i, but also work with agents on the other islands.
