The backyard at Villa Hui Hou provides you with your own private playground. Relax in the pool deck lounge chairs as you admire Robert Vogland's pleasing turtle mosaic beneath its depths, along with the tropical landscaping which adds to the pool's secluded feel. The giant mango tree shades the kid's play area and treehouse and if you're staying between the months of May and October, there's a good chance you'll enjoy fresh mango straight from the tree. Get competitive on the putting green tucked along the side of the home, shooting hoops on the large driveway or see who can grill up the tastiest meal on the available BBQ. As you head indoors, past the cozy conversation nook, the main living room is flanked by disappearing glass doors and wide french doors, allowing the island breeze to flow through the vast space when they're left open. An oversized sectional and comfortable, modern chairs are situated around a large flatscreen TV mounted above the decorative fireplace. The bright light from the living room windows flows into the gourmet kitchen, where the 48 Wolf range, dual oven and sub-zero appliances beg to be utilized.

Serve meals at the breakfast bar or at the wooden table in the adjacent dining room. The king-size bed in the stately master suite is surrounded by numerous windows, which put the palm trees and other greenery beyond on full display. Start your day off right by utilizing the workout area, which consists of a stationary bike and a space for your yoga practice. The enchanting views continue in the en suite, where the Mokulua Islands are visible from both the large walk-in shower and the jetted soaking tub. Villa Hui Hou contains four other vast bedrooms, two of which have their own en suites and private entrances ensuring everyone has their own space and one with a queen-size bed, full size bunk beds and a twin trundle that's fantastic for kids. When the group is ready to get together at the end of a long day, the media room with its large projection screen and kitchenette is the perfect place for a movie night. After the feature, venture out onto the attached deck with a drink in hand and search for meteors in the night sky. Spend every morning at the sandy cove at the end of the beach path while you swi m toward the well-known Mokulua Islands. This is also a great place to launch kayaks or stand-up paddle boards, whch are available through our concierge services. Arguably one of the best beaches in the world, Lanikai Beach, is close by as well and not to be missed. Stores like Target and Whole Foods are conveniently located in nearby Kailua, along with a multitude of local boutiques waiting to be discovered. Cinnamon's is a popular breakfast spot for locals and tourists alike; be prepared to wait, but the guava chiffon pancakes are definitely worth it.
