Aloha,

My name is Desmond Cura, but most know me as Dez. I am married to Tinamarie Kepoo Cura, and we have two wonderful sons. I was born and raised on Guam, but Hawaii is home now as I have been living here since 2010.

On June 25, 2002, I began my enlistment in the U.S. Coast Guard, having achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer and retired in August 2022 after proudly serving for 20 years. During my time in the Coast Guard, I served in several enlisted leadership positions, which has helped me to understand the value of clear and concise communication, an ability to problem-solve, and most importantly to look out for others. I am confident in knowing that I will transfer these skills over to my new career as a Real Estate Associate to ensure that I will better serve you as my client as I seek to gain your trust. It is my belief that this would create a solid foundation to do business together, form new friendships, and know that I will always treat you with respect and honor the time you afford me.

Outside of my career I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons outdoors. Which include beach trips, mountain biking, motocross, golf, and hiking just to name a few. As a family we also take pride in giving back to our community by volunteering our time with our church by participating in community clean-ups and distributing food to low-income communities.
