Personal Information:
Ralph was born and raised in Hawaii. His Great-great grandfather on his fathers side came to the islands in 1876 from Australia to work for King Kalakaua, as his City Planner and Architect. He was a free mason and master builder. He built the Original Royal Palace, now called the Legislature Building (behind King Kamehameha's Statue), the Bishop Museum, the Kawaihou Church Tomb, and many other Historical Sites.
His grandfather on his mothers side was Cliff Weaver, founder and partner of SpenceCliff Restaurant Chain. You remember those great old restaurants like Queen Surf, Tiki Tops, Fishermans Wharf, Tahitian Lanai, Ranch House, and Cocos. Cliff and Spence grew up in New York and came to Hawaii in 1938. They loved it so much they stayed and started the first hot dog stands in Waikiki and China Town called Swanky Franky's. From there over the next 20 years they opened over 40 restaurants and 2 hotels in Hawaii and Tahiti.
Ralph attended Roosevelt and Punahou High School and San Diego State University with a focus on in communication & Marketing. His hobbies include travel, foiling, surfing, paddling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, and golf. His affiliations include The Honolulu Board of Realtors, Hawaii Historical Homes Foundation, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
From 1998-2001 Ralph worked for the National Association of Realtors Web Site: Realtorwww. He was the Hawaii Regional Manager and brought internet marketing for Realtors to Hawaii and trained Hawaiis top agents on how to market real estate over the internet.
Ralph is also active in donating to Green Peace, The Surfrider Foundation, To Make a Wish Foundation for kids, and The United Way. He is a strong believer in protecting the environment for our future generations.
