Our passion is helping our clients, whether they are buying a new home or selling their current home, achieve maximum home equity potential. We are experts in the pre-market preparation process which includes professional consultation of market conditions and home values as well as professional staging services. Using our expertise and experience, we help our clients achieve their goals. In addition, we both have Bachelor of Business Administration Degrees from Iowa State University and understand the importance of all details in this process. The mistake of overpaying on a purchase or selling under the market can have a huge impact on a persons net worth.
This is where our education, experience and negotiating expertise in real estate provides great value to our clients with what may be their largest financial investment. (Michelle was first licensed as a Real Estate Agent in 1993 and Rob in 2003. They have worked in many different real estate markets and have combined real estate experience of over 20 years. Their different strengths are brought together in the Rob Smith Homes and Land team).
We have personally owned 7 homes in our 27 years of marriage and have improved each one of them to some extent. We can see the potential in homes that may need some work. Sometimes a little bit of elbow grease and paint can build instant home equity. On the other hand, we have also undertaken the challenge of a couple of major transformations. Either way, the process of helping home sellers and home buyers realize the potential of a house is something we enjoy immensely.
We know what it takes to maximize a homes potential and work hard with our clients to make that happen whether it is staging the home for sale or negotiating the deal. Michelle is an ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) and understands what staging truly is. Its considerably more complicated than putting some furniture in an empty home.
