Over the last 212years, I have spent an uncountable amount of hours doing real estate. I take great pride in presenting Southern Illinois properties to buyers moving to the Marion and surrounding areas which includes, but is not limited to, Herrin, Carterville, Johnston City, Goreville, Carbondale and the beautiful Lake of Egypt. People always seem somewhat amazed when they arrive here for the first time and discover the amount of attractions, activities and outdoor opportunities available. Southern Illinois excels in scenic and recreational adventures such as Ferne Cliff, Garden of the Gods, Shawnee National Forest, and Lake of Egypt marina/camping area . Area attractions include the Shawnee Wine Trail (over 50 wineries and event centers,) Bald Knob Cross, Giant City Lodge and numerous hiking and biking trails. Being close to a major university (Southern Illinois University) also adds both an educational and cultural vibe to our area. Even with all of these features, maybe the most attractive reason to live in Southern Illinois remains the hometown feel you get with everyday living.In my career, I take special pride and care in helping those first time buyers in finding their perfect home and assisting them over the years as their family and needs change.With over 25 years in the overall real estate environment, selling, abstracting and closing home loans, I am experienced in assisting property buyers in qualifying for loans and choosing the best options in an ever changing market.
