She has a special place in her heart for veterans and current members of the military, thanks to her father, who is a veteran of both the Army and the Navy. Financial difficulties have become a fact of life for many during these past several years. Carol earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and radio, TV, & film while working full-time at Motorola where she held several management positions for 23 years. She later co-owned a home repair and improvement business in Canada for a dozen years and operated a successful crafts business. Now her clients reap the benefit of her skills and experience.
When not assisting clients, she can be found assisting her parents, who recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. She loves being in nature and finds hiking to be a form of meditation. She also enjoys kayaking, music, cheering for the Chicago Cubs, reading, and cooking.
An animal lover, she supports rescue organizations and shares her home with a rescue cat named Coco.
