Melissa is an Abingdon High School Alumni who received her Bachelors of Science from The University of Illinois and attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale for post-bacc studies. Melissa is now back in Knox County, living in Abingdon, with her husband Dustin & their 2 dogs Yoshi & Zulu. She enjoys the local cuisine including Maid Rite of Galesburg, La Gondola and LaRomas Pizza in Abingdon. Also, as an avid lover of adventure and exploring Melissa went on a recent hiking trip through the Rocky Mountains and has been to Honduras twice as a volunteer to help impoverished women and children. When she isnt hiking, eating or volunteering she enjoys running, watching the Cubs & crafting.
