Craig & Nick Fallico

For father and son duo Craig and Nick Fallico, real estate runs in the family. The first Fallico to enter the business was Craigs father (Nicks grandfather) who started Fallico Real Estate. He was immediately successful, Craig explains. After working as a Spanish teacher, football coach and wrestling coach for high school students, Craig decided to join his father as an agent. Every year has been a good business year for the Fallicos, even through the recessions in the 1980s and 2000s. And when Nick decided to join his father in 2012, business continued to boom. After graduating with a degree in marketing from Michigan State University, he was well-equipped to jump into real estate.

When he came on it was the best thing ever, Craig says. Hes unbelievably productive, and has made us well-known through social media. We are everywhere. Today, they work as Team Fallico under the brokerage Dream Town Realty in Chicago. They serve Park Ridge, the north side of Chicago, Edison Park and the northwest suburbs. Over the years, the Fallicos have sold a home on every street in Park Ridge, the same area where Craig has spent most of his life and where Nick grew up.

Its just about being professional and putting your clients first, Craig and Nick explain. Our clients know we really care about them and that theyre our main priority. Their approach to real estate is multifaceted, with education, marketing, and guidance being the main themes. Craig has been a coach for every sport in the community, and he loves to use those leadership skills to guide his clients throughout their transaction. Meanwhile, Nick has a natural flair for advertising, bringing in more new clients than ever before. Our business was previously 80 percent referral-based, it is now 65 percent because of all the new clients coming from our social media marketing, they explain. They also put effort into marketing their listings, posting them online and making sure they have the best 3D imaging, videography, photography and signage. Craig loves to put up weekend directional signs, making it easy for passersby to find the listing. We put them up on Saturday morning and take them down on Monday morning, he says. All of this has resulted in their average market time being just 27 days.
