Living near Vandalia has many nice aspects. It is a small city with a population of about 6,000 people, making it a great place to live for those who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere. The city is also close to other larger cities such as St. Louis, Missouri and Indianapolis, Indiana, so there are plenty of attractions and activities nearby.
