Schuyler County is located in western Illinois, about 200 miles southwest of Chicago. It is bordered by Adams and Pike counties to the north, Hancock and McDonough counties to the east, Mason and Cass counties to the south, and Brown and Fulton counties to the west. The county seat is Rushville.
