Chenoa is a small village in McLean County, Illinois with a population of about 1,700 people. It was founded in 1854 and incorporated in 1865. The village is named after a Native American word for "dove". Chenoa is located at the intersection of two major highways, Interstate 55 and Route 24, which makes it a popular stop for travelers. The village has several parks, including a large park with a swimming pool, and hosts an annual town celebration called Chenoa Days.
