Mendon is a small village located in Adams County, Illinois, in the United States. According to the 2010 census, the population of Mendon was 953. The village was founded in the mid-1800s and experienced growth due to the establishment of a railroad depot during that time. Mendon is home to several historical landmarks, including the Mendon Community Building, which was built in 1937 and serves as a gathering space for community events.
