Kinmundy is a small village located in Marion County, Illinois, United States. It was founded in 1857 and is named after the Scottish town of Kinmundy. The village has a total area of 1.3 square miles and a population of approximately 800 people. Kinmundy is home to the Kinmundy Log Cabin Village, which is a collection of authentic log cabins that date back to the 19th century.
