With 40 years of sales experience supplying cutting tools and industrial machinery to the aircraft and automotive industry, Jeff has made a second career in Real Estate. A Bloomington native, graduating from Bloomington High School South in 1973 and Indiana University in 1978, Jeff returned to Bloomington in 2004. After years of traveling the Midwest, as a sales manager and then business owner, he decided to turn his passion for real estate into a profession.
Jeff received his Realtors license in April 2010 and his brokers license in 2013. He is actively working with buyers and sellers in Bloomington and surrounding areas. His expertise in public speaking, sales management, and contract negotiations prepared him well for the real estate profession.
The knowledge Jeff has about the community, university, and the history of Bloomington is a testament to his family history. The fish atop the Monroe County Courthouse was made and donated by Jeffs great, great, great grandfather, Austin Seward, an early Bloomington settler. Jeff is well known for giving detailed tours of Bloomington to prospective new residents. Sharing his knowledge of the community helps clients understand why Bloomington is such a special place.
Jeff is a member of the Indiana University Varsity Club, IU Alumni Association, First United Methodist Church, and the Bloomington Rotary Club. He serves on the annual Community Toy Drive with the Bloomington Board of Realtors, and is a Meals on Wheels volunteer. In his spare time Jeff enjoys jogging, gardening, antiquing, and spending time with his grown children and triplet grandbabies. Pam, Jeffs wife of 36 years, is a development officer with the Kelley School of Business.
