I spent most of my childhood years in Hamilton County, IN. My family relocated to Westerville, OH near Columbus my sophomore year of high school. I graduated from Westerville South High School in 1993 and immediately entered the workforce. Shortly after my graduation from high school my family moved back to Indiana, this time to Kendallville in the north eastern part of the state. I have always had a love for water, the outdoors and travel (preferably to the beach)! I have been happily married to my husband Eric Beverly, owner of Beverly Electric, LLC since September of 2010. We have no children of our own but enjoy spending time with our ten nieces and eleven nephews (yes, thats a total of 21 nieces and nephews!). In my free time I enjoy, swimming, fishing, hiking and boating. I also enjoy spending time in Fort Myers Beach, FL whenever I am able.
From 1993 to 2010 I worked in the transportation industry, first as a permit specialist assisting trucking companies with obtaining oversize permits and later as an administrative assistant and truck dispatcher. In 2001 a job opportunity for a trucking company located in New Haven, IN, the desire to be closer to my family and the abundance of lakes in Northern Indiana brought me to the area. I purchased my first home in the nearby town of Woodburn in 2006.
In 2010, along with the recession, the rise of fuel prices caused the trucking industry to suffer greatly. I was laid off from my job and found it next to impossible to find work in my field for even close to the same pay. I took several part time jobs to make ends meet while searching for work. At the same time, my mortgage payments increased dramatically due to the type of loan I had obtained when purchasing my home and I soon found myself unable to make my monthly mortgage payments. I made the decision to get my real estate sales persons license to figure out how to correct my situation and help friends and family make educated decisions concerning home ownership in the future. I attended Troyer School of Real Estate in Indianapolis and soon started my real estate career with Century 21 Landmark in New Haven, IN.
In 2012 my love for water brought me to Tri Lakes in Whitley county, which has become home to me. I transferred to Orizon Real Estate in Columbia City where I became very comfortable and celebrated 5 years of service. I obtained my real estate brokers license, SRES designation and expanded my knowledge in all areas of real estate, working closely with some of Whitley counties most experienced agents. While getting established in Whitley county I also managed a rural development apartment community in South Whitley for Senior Citizens and people with disabilities which I found very rewarding. I have developed a passion for selling lake properties but thoroughly enjoy helping any type of buyer or seller achieve their dreams.
To grow my business and keep up with the ever-changing world of technology I am proud to say that I have stepped out of my comfort zone and joined the rapidly growing team of agents at Re/max Integrity located in Columbia City. The global branding, extensive network of agents, endless technological resources and ongoing educational tools are a huge asset to both myself and my clients. I feel that with hard work and a positive attitude, the possibilities are endless!
