Cass County is located in north-central Indiana and is part of the Logansport Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 38,966. The county seat is Logansport, the largest city in the county.
The racial makeup of the county is 92.4% White, 4.3% Black or African American, 0.4% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 1.2% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races.
