Robert Cobb and his father Wesley Cobb started selling real estate in 1988 for Jerry Vickers who owned and operated CENTURY 21 Vickers Agency. In September 1990 Robert purchased the business and the CENTURY 21 franchise from Jerry and started CENTURY 21 Cobb Realty, Inc. In 1993 Cobb Realty moved from 1001 N. Broadway to 902 S. Broadway, which was a larger location, growing stronger in the market every year. In 2003 Cobb Realty, Inc. built a new office at 4019 Parkview Dr. to allow Robert, and his staff, the ability to better serve their clients and customers with the latest technology in a comfortable atmosphere. Cobb Realty currently employs Robert, his wife Karri, his father Wesley and eight sales agents. Four times Cobb Realty Inc. was voted the best real estate company in Crawford County according to the Morning Sun newspaper. Every year consecutively since 2006 CENTURY 21 Cobb Realty, Inc. has had the largest number of listings sell and sold more units than any other real estate office in Pittsburg. Last year according to the Pittsburg MLS CENTURY 21 Cobb Realty had over 30% of the market share selling over 33 Million in transaction sides
The office and the agents have won several awards from CENTURY 21 Corporate and the Pittsburg Board of Realtors over the past several years but winning the Quality Service Award thru CENTURY 21 for the last Eighteen years means more to Robert and his staff, knowing people have had good service. This award is won by having Buyers and Sellers answer a questionnaire after completing their transaction and sending it in to CENTURY 21 Corporate. They score these on a 1 to 10 scale in each category. The Office must maintain an 85% or better satisfaction rating. Very few Century 21 Offices have received this award as many times as our office has. We have also received a PER PERSON PRODUCTIVITY AWARD the last 9 years which mean every agent is considered a producing agent of equal to 2.5 transactions a month. The Pittsburg Board of Realtors has selected an agent in Cobb Realty for Realtor Of The Year 8 times.
CENTURY 21 Cobb Realty, Inc. is very involved in the Pittsburg Board of Realtors. Robert has been a director for 26 years and has been President of the Board 3 times. Charley Butler, Shelly Hildebrandt, Tony Sanchez, and Alan Rogers have also served as President and Directors, Monica Angeles is Current President and Shelly Hildebrandt is currently Vice-President.
CENTURY 21 Cobb Realty, Inc. and its agents are also very involved in the community and the Pittsburg area organizations. Our company has been a sponsor of several School Events, Fundraisers, Golf Tournaments, and other charitable programs.
