Blake's family has always been at the center of his life. He married his beloved wife, Leslie, in 2004, and together they have raised four wonderful children. Blake's professional journey has been diverse and fulfilling. Prior to his career in real estate, he spent six years serving the community as a law enforcement officer with the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, starting in 2013. His commitment to public service during these years helped shape his sense of responsibility and dedication to others.
Before his time in law enforcement, Blake embarked on a 12-year adventure as an owner-operator of a major restaurant chain, a journey that began when he acquired his first restaurant at the young age of 19. This experience not only honed his business acumen but also took him to various places, including Hasting, NE, where he met Leslie, the love of his life. Eventually, they settled in Derby in 2006, where they have happily called home ever since.
In 2016, Blake decided to take on a new challenge by entering the real estate industry. He started as a real estate agent, fully aware that success in this field required hard work, dedication, and a genuine commitment to helping others. In his first year, Blake faced the expected challenges, selling only 20 homes. However, his unwavering work ethic and determination paid off.
From the second year onward, Blake consistently ranked among the top 20 percent of agents in the area. His track record includes impressive achievements such as selling over 100 homes during his five years in the industry. These accomplishments didn't go unnoticed, and he received prestigious awards, including the Presidents Club in 2020, the Masters Circle in 2021, and again in 2022.
Blake's dedication to his clients is unwavering, and he brings his strong work ethic to every transaction. This commitment to excellence led him to establish "Legacy Homes of KS," a thriving real estate team that includes his wife Leslie, his dad Rusty, his stepmom Sherri, and soon, his daughter Kiersten.
