At the MoJo Real Estate Team, our mission is simply to provide each of our clients a "Wow" experience while handling the most important transaction of their lives to ensure they introduce us to our next clients.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northwest Missouri State University, Max and his wife spent several years living and working in New York City. There he was a part owner of an arts event space and an archivist for an art gallery. They moved back to Kansas City to be closer to their families as they were starting a family of their own. This is when Max's longtime friend, Zac Morton, believed he had great potential and encouraged Max to join him in real estate and that's when Morton Jones & Associates (aka the MoJo Team) was born. At the time, the real estate market was still recovering from the 2008 recession and his friends and family thought he was crazy. However, joining an already competitive industry at such a competitive time forced Max to sharpen his skills quickly. Now the MoJo Team has grown to 11 members, including 3 full-time admin, and get to help over 175 families a year! A majority of our business comes from referrals from our past clients who received exceptional service and want the same for their family and friends.
