Wamego is a small city located in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 4,372. Wamego is known for its annual Tulip Festival in the spring and the OZ Museum, a museum dedicated to the Wizard of Oz, as well as a variety of other local attractions such as Wamego City Park, the Wamego Historical Society & Museum, and more.
