I have enjoyed my real estate career since 1993 in the wonderful Oldham County and city of Louisville communities. Friendliest place we have ever lived, bar none! Gorgeous scenery, great schools, lots of kid sports, larger yards, somewhat less hectic pace. Oldham County has a lot to offer. Much of Louisville is just a half hour drive, or less! Louisville is large enough to have lots to do, theater, great restuarants, shopping, great interstate system, job variety, stable economy, ballet, University of Louisville and University of Kentucky rivalry! Serious college competition. Some smaller private colleges, and magnet schools if you have a preference for your children. Louisville Bats pro baseball, brand new sports stadium almost on the river, the gorgeous Great Lawn area of the Ohio River frontage, one of the greatest events in the US, Kentucky Derby, with the fabulous Thunder Over Louisville opening festival day for the Kentucky Derby Festival (16 days!)way less congested than larger cities, one of the top 10 cities in America, taking in amenities, cost of living, crime rate, schools and more. Just over an hour to Cincinnati and 2 to Indianapolis, if you have to have those pro sport fixes! How can I not love working here! I am so fortunate to live and work here. Our 3 boys went through school here, and 2 attended college in Louisville.I have been so fortunate in my clients. I have 5 time 'repeaters' and wonderful newer clients that found me, from Alaska to Canada, Florida and California. I also have worked with parents, grandparents and then the kids. Referrals are the life blood of my business. So, if the Louisville area is an option for you, or you think you would like it to be!
