Whitesburg is a small town located in Letcher County, Kentucky, United States. It is situated in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains and is home to about 2,000 people. The town was founded in the late 19th century and was named after a local family. Whitesburg is known for its scenic beauty, with hills and forests surrounding the town.
