When Susan Talbert moved backed to Baton Rouge after being away for fifteen years, she knew she was coming home for good. It felt right to be in a city where the pace was more relaxed, allowing time to talk in the grocery line, cook out with neighbors, and sit on the patio while her daughters played outside. For her family, it was the community that drew her in and made it home and now Susan helps others find that perfect fit.

From her early days in the medical field, doing cardiology research for her Master's in Applied Physiology then cardiovascular testing at the renowned Cooper Clinic, Susan is adept at identifying problems and finds real satisfaction in solving them. "I really got a chance to know the people that came to the Clinic", Susan says. "Entering into their lives in those stressful times and knowing I was helping meant the world to me." Always detail minded, she dedicates herself to the successful implementation of minimized problems and maximum results. With her experience she has seen firsthand that a person's motivation has the power to change everything.
Community Spirit
With three girls of her own, Susan knows how important it is to be connected to the meaningful things in life. Coming from a family of local business owners, she sees service as a tangible way to give back. Whether teaching Sunday School at her church, a member of Charity Ball Association, on the Board of the Grief Recovery Center, or donating a percentage of her earnings to Habitat for Humanity, Susan does what she can to ensure that others in her community have a chance to succeed.
What Matters Most
Susan and her family treasure the time they spend together. They enjoy playing tennis, shopping, or just getting to watch a movie on the couch. As they have continued to grow, Susan has loved getting to see each of her girls' individual characteristics develop. "It is those differences I want to cultivate in my girls", she says. "Instilling in them an indepedence and confidence to be who they were created to be." Seeing the distinct uniqueness of her own family has made her more aware of how each family is different. "It's important to me that family comes first," Susan says. "If I know a family's specific needs, I can help accomplish their goals, whether that be finding their dream house or relocating as efficiently as possible."
