As an experienced Realtor, I have worked with local first time home buyers to out of state home buyers buying a second home. They have bought single family homes in the suburbs, condos in the Warehouse District, and historic homes in Uptown New Orleans. My approach to dealing with various types of buyers is to listen. With a diverse group of buyers, their wants and desires will be very different. I learned early in my real estate career, that it is more important to act as an advisor and less like a salesperson. My job is to make sure my clients know exactly what they are buying with respect to the terms of the agreement to the condition of the home.
