Annie Kelly has lived and worked in the Amherst area for over 25 years and has helped numerous people and families sell and buy homes. She was an editor before embarking on her real estate career over eight years ago, and as much as she appreciates words and literature, she loves working with all kinds of people as they make one of the biggest transitions of their lives. She consistently places her clients needs, goals and objectives at the forefront of every transaction. She believes that listening closely to and understanding her clients as well as possessing well-developed real estate skills, knowledge, and experience are keys to being a successful agent. Her husband Steve, an environmental science teacher, assists her in real estate, and like everyone else at JONES GROUP REALTORS, the pair is hardworking, professional, warm, and collegial. They know the Valley well, and are very active in all that it has to offer. Annie grew up in Palo Alto, California, before moving across the country to Concord, Massachusetts. Since then she has lived in Boulder, Colorado, as well as Chatham, Newton, and Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Having graduated from college in Amherst many years ago, she and Steve decided to return to the Valley that they loved when they decided to settle down and raise a family. Four years ago, after raising their family in Amherst, they moved to Hadley, where they now reside.

Annie loves being part of the local community and experiencing the rich local culture, the music in Northampton, speakers at the colleges, the farmers market, open-mike nights at the Black Sheep Bakery, even working out at the local fitness center. With her two dogs, one a three-legged, long-haired, elderly mini-dachshund, and the other a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who just had a litter that will be used as service dogs for North Star Foundation, Annie finds many opportunities to explore the trails, parks, and hiking areas of the Valley. She is also an avid bike rider; she and her husband will participate again in this years New York City 5 Boro Bike Tour, where 32,000 bikers descend upon the city to ride 40 miles along streets that have been closed off to cars.

A very energetic person who loves to experience what life has to offer, Annie was a volunteer head coach for the Special Olympics in Amherst for eight years, led an infertility support group for five years and is a volunteer at the Manna Soup Kitchen in Northampton, something shes done for eight years. Call Annie on her cell phone or drop her an email and shell be happy to answer any questions you have and join you on your new venture!
