Rick is a third generation resident of Weymouth and has been selling residential real estate throughout the South Shore since 1984. He is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute - a designation signifying ninety hours of advanced in-class real estate education and holds the CRS designation from the Council of Residential Specialists a designation held by less than five percent of all Realtors - and the CRB designation from the Council of Real Estate Brokers and Managers. Rick has been active in the South Shore Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and has served on many committees. In 1997 the South Shore Association of Realtors selected him as its president and Realtor of the Year, the only time in its sixty-plus year history a sitting president has received that honor. He continues to serve on the MAR Professional Standards Committee and the Government Affairs Committees of both MAR and PASS. He has been a guest contributor on WCVB-TVs Chronicle; Tom Williams Sound Advice and is often sought for his real estate expertise and knowledge of the South Shore real estate market. Rick is married to the former Cheryl Swanson and has two adult children.
