Leslie MacKinnon was born and raised in Duxbury, Massachusetts. She thereafter attended Falmouth Academy on Cape Cod where much of her extended family resides. After attending The Massachusetts College of Art and graduating with a BFA in Photography, Leslie spent time living and working as an English Teacher in Japan. Leslie and her husband moved to Dorchester ten years ago and were immediately taken back by the beautiful architecture, vibrant community, and many outdoor public spaces. They've greatly enjoyed the rich rewards of raising their two school-age children in the charming Ashmont-Adams neighborhood. Leslie and her family enjoyed four years at The Ashmont Nursery School, a parent run cooperative preschool, in both fundraising and leadership capacities. Her pride and devotion to the community fostered a collaboration on a local blog which chronicled businesses, events and lifestyle in Dorchester. Previously a Marketing and Public Relations consultant with over 10 years in advertising sales for Boston magazine, Boston magazine HOME, and New England Home magazine, her passion for beautiful homes led her to pursue a career in Real Estate. As a licensed Realtor, Leslie specializes in representing her clients in the purchase and sale of single-family residences and income property within Dorchester, Milton, Greater Boston, The South Shore, and The Cape & Islands.
