A Lincoln, Massachusetts native, Liza has a long-running history with Nantucket as she grew up spending her summers in Sconset. Liza went to University of Connecticut in Storrs, where she majored in Psychology and Sociology (perfect for a career in real estate!), and continued coming to Nantucket to work in the hospitality industry during her summer breaks. After graduating, Liza spent a few years working outside of Boston, but she yearned to be back on-island full time and moved to the island year-round in 2011. Liza has a wealth of real estate experience, having served as the rental and business manager at a large real estate office on Nantucket and spending three years in construction project management with one of the islands premier builders. Liza also has her Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License and her clients appreciate the informed and well-rounded perspective she brings to the table.
Liza is involved in the Harvey Foundation and is on their committee for the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament each Spring at the Boys and Girls Club. Liza is also an avid runner and has recently run the Boston, Chicago and New York City marathons while fundraising for Spaulding Rehab in Charlestown, MA and Imerman Angels, a charity that provides one on one support for cancer fighters, survivors and their caregivers.
