After more than 14 years of experience in media, entertainment and technology as a communications and social media leader, Amber founded At Home DC in 2016 to bring her lifelong passion and talent for interior decorating to fellow residents of Washington, DC, as well as clients in the surrounding communities of Maryland and Virginia. In 2017, she joined Keller Williams Capital Properties as a real estate agent serving buyers and sellers in the area, holding licenses in DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Amber's love of real estate, interior design and all things "home" started as a teenager in Oklahoma, where she would regularly tour construction sites and available properties with her mother and redecorate her bedroom regularly on shoestring budgets. Her pride in her home and love of hosting family and friends continued when she moved to DC to attend Georgetown University and later to start her career in media.

When she is not working with clients, you'll find Amber spending time in her beloved Petworth neighborhood, perusing furniture and accessory stores along 14th Street, in her kitchen trying new recipes, attending Hoya basketball games and volunteering with the Humane Rescue Alliance, Celebrate Petworth, Shepherd's Table and Mutts Matter Rescue. You can follow Amber and At Home DC on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (AtHomeDC).
