Lori has been a Realtor since the Summer of 2000. Prior to becoming an agent, she was a registered nurse for 13 years specializing in cardiac care telemetry at Bon Secours Hospital, post surgery care at Johns Hopkins Bayview campus and finally at the outpatient surgery center in Pasadena, MD affiliated with MedStar Health.
Throughout her nursing career Lori was able to enhance her skills for quick assessment; listening , and correct responses. She has been able to transfer those skills and use them to her clients' benefits. She personalizes her service to meet her clients' needs, whether it is a first time home buyer, experienced buyer, estate sale, or short sale/foreclosure. "Providing my Buyer's and Seller's with my past experience, knowledge of the current market, and listening to THEIR needs works to find them the solution they need" says Lori.
In 2005 she had the opportunity to join with another exceptional agent holding the same values and integrity that she believes in. Kathy Dixon and Lori Witmer-Kluge joined together to form The Dixon/ Kluge Group. "In essence we joined to provide 2 other agents a support team and to be able to strategize together instead of trying to each become a strong opposing agent." So in 2005 they invited the 2 agents to join them. Everything went so well that in 2006 they not only added 4 more but were offered positions at Long and Foster. Their group has since grown to 10 agents and still have that comfortable feel that they ARE working for you and NOT just a commission. The Dixon/Kluge Group has been honored to hold the TOP TEAM in CARROLL COUNTY since their start in 2006, even through the less than optimal market conditions they have persevered.
Lori is the mother of 3 children that were all raised in Carroll county. She grew up in Ellicott City and is a graduate of Howard High School. Her children have all attended the local public schools. Patrick, her eldest, is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. He is now a Naval Officer flying Helicopters. Her daughter McKenzi is a graduate of the Univ. Of South Carolina and is the leasing manager for Park Place in Louisiana. Harrison, her youngest is in the Chinook flight team in the Army. In her free time she visits her children, attends college lacrosse games and is an avid Orioles fan.
