After spending summers at Deep Creek as a child, Mike and his family moved to the lake full-time in 1997. Mike has been a licensed REALTOR since 2001 and is currently President of the Garrett County Board of Realtors. He recently won the prestigious Garrett County Realtor of the Year award for 2013. In 2012 he became one of the co-owners of Railey Realty. Mike has developed and obtained valuable knowledge about the lake market over the years that he passes on to his buyer and seller clients. His family owned lakefront property from the 1950's to the late 80's, and Mike purchased his first lakefront home in 1997. He has a bachelors degree in finance from Ohio University and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College. Mike and his 2 boys currently live on the lake and enjoy water-skiing, mountain biking, and snowboarding at Wisp Ski Resort. He also spends time volunteering for local charities and coaching local youth sports.
