As a member of the Harford County Association of Realtors and a resident of Joppa for over 25 years, I have extensive knowledge of the area. Union Preferred Realty owners Nick and Shawn has been involved with the buying and selling of homes in Baltimore and adjacent areas for over 7 years. Since inception, we have been an important part of the local community and we will continue to serve all of the area's real estate needs for years to come. In 2020 we felt that the best way to continue to support our community was to start our own brokerage, based on our shared belief of Real Property with Real Purpose. Union Preferred Realty was born. Born in Baltimore City, my family moved to Joppa when I was young. I was educated in the local school system and am familiar with many of the schools in the area. I received a BA degree from Loyola College (now Loyola University Maryland) in Business Administration-Accounting and an MA in Administration and Supervision from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland (now Notre Dame University Maryland). As an educator of 15 years, I understand the importance of training and technology and its role in any profession. My goal is to make each real estate experience as simple as possible for all parties involved. I enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their goals. Experience, support and training are why I, Shawn Kerr, chose to affiliate with Union Preferred Realty.
