Monica Gibson has worked as a full-time Realtor since 2003. Prior to real estate Monica worked for ten years in public accounting and corporate finance. She is well versed in negotiations and pricing strategy and is focused on exceeding client expectations and providing outstanding client service. Monica is focused on growing her real estate business through referrals from past clients, friends and family. She views each client as a resource for helping build her business. Background

Monica is originally from Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor and master degree in accounting and started her professional career with KPMG. After a rotation in audit and tax, Monica went to work at Walt Disney World in corporate finance. After enjoying several challenging roles at Disney and with the encouragement of her executive leadership Monica decided to pursue her MBA. Monica moved to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago. She graduated from the Graduate School of Business (now known as the Booth School of Business) with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance. After business school, Monica rejoined the corporate world working for Diageo, one of the world's largest alcohol beverage companies.

With ten solid years of business experience, Monica decided to make her career move into residential real estate. Friends often hear Monica say, "This is my dream job. There is no other job I would rather have." This enthusiasm and passion continue to promote Monica to the elite ranks of top real estate professionals.

Monica and her husband, Mark, have two teenage boys who attend school in McLean. In her spare time, Monica enjoys reading, traveling, snow skiing, and wine tasting.

Monica also provides staging advice to her selling clients and when incorporated into her proven marketing plan can immediately improve the showing quality of the home and the marketability of the property. This in turn helps sell the home more quickly and at a high price.
