I am Brandi Barrett. I am transitioning into my new married name from Brandi French. I am the oldest of three children, naturally making me a leader with all the bossing around I had to do. My father has been a lineman all his life and my mother was an operations manager at a few pawn shops. I am forever grateful for the work ethic they instilled in me and I appreciate the fact nothing is ever going to be handed to you, except for bills Even after you die, you still get bills.
When I was 16 years old I had my first daughter, Demi. This became my first real life challenge in life. Causing immediate disappointment to my family, I made a promise to myself and God that I would NOT be the failure my family knew I would be. I cannot thank my mother enough for making me accept full responsibility. While working I was accepted into a teen motherhood school where I finished my last few credits and graduated from Williamsport High in 2005. Being out on my own in a big world taught me survival of the fittest to say the least. The challenges I encountered helped me grow and develop as a mother, wife, daughter, friend, etc. I am still learning and growing to be the best I can be every day.
The loss of my mother in 2015 ignited a flame to understand that the purpose of life is to truly live before you die. It forced me to have a different perspective; from the day you take your first breath you are destined to take your last, we just do not know when. When my mother passed it motivated me to be on the fast track of reality and to truly live before I meet her again. I also am discovering my WHY I intend to continue to help others grow and succeed and share with them the tools Ive learned as well as give back as much as I receive.
When I am not working on my real estate business, I enjoy camping and having cookouts as well as watching movies and playing games with my family.
