Trappe is a small village with a population of around 1,000 people as of the 2010 census. The village was founded in the late 17th century and has a rich history dating back to colonial times. It is home to many historic buildings and landmarks, such as the Old White Marsh Episcopal Church, which was built in 1690 and is one of the oldest churches in Maryland. Trappe is also known for its annual Strawberry Festival, which takes place in May and features live music, craft vendors, and of course, plenty of strawberry-themed treats.
