I earned my first Real Estate License in Pennsylvania many years before moving to Maine. Ive been licensed in Maine since 2003 and earned my full Brokers License in June 2006. Ive been a member of the Maine Association and National Association of Realtors since 2003 as well as the Acadia Council of Realtors. In 2009 I was awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, completed the requirements for Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Certification in 2010 and Graduate, Realtor Institute in 2012. However, to me the most important recognition I've received has been by my fellow local Realtors for Realtor of the Year in 2014. While I suspect my efforts to earn additional professional designations, exceed the bi-annual Continuing Education requirements for Licensure, my service to the Association as President of the Acadia Council, President of the Mid-Coast Board, continuing service as Treasurer, membership in Rotary, and participation in local community events were part of my being chosen, I'm still quite humbled and flattered by the Award.
