I'm in my 14th year as a full time Realtor, a profession which I enjoy very much! I enjoy helping my buyers to locate the perfect property & assist my Seller clients in listing & ultimately selling their home, land or commercial property. I take pride in following up with all of the calls I receive within 24 hrs (if at all possible - I try! ).... a personal goal I like to live by. When I first moved to Maine in 1994, I worked with the Pleasant Point Health Center as a Public Health Nutritionist / Diabetes Program Coordinator. I still hold my license as an RD in Maine but am not working in the field. I owned and operated Moose Island Fitness in Eastport ME from 2001-2003. Some of my other occupations locally have included working as the Director of Admissions at Washington Academy, and working for the American Cancer Society. I hold the following degrees: BS in Business Admin/Marketing - Methodist College, Fayetteville, NC, MPH in Public Health Nutrition from UNC Chapel Hill, NC, and an MS in Special Education from Univ. of Southern Maine. I believe in giving back to your community, currently serving as VP on the Eastport Health Center Board of Trustees. In the past, I've served on the Budget Committee for the City of Eastport as well as an affiliation with the Boat School and a Board member with Eastport for Pride. My interests include - health and fitness, travel, boating, photography, cooking. My passion includes traveling to the Middle East where I have many family members in Syria and UAE. I also have a small business Called Hamsamra Fair Trade which focuses on importing products from Palestine and giving back a portion of my sales to Church World Service to help support Syrian refugees.
