Marc Chalfoun began his real estate career in 2003 a few years after moving to Mount Desert Island. Marc is enthusiastic about the diverse real estate market here. "MDI has seven major communities, each has its own unique characteristic and feel. There is something for everyone on the Island. The variety keeps things interesting."

His professional goal of providing a helping hand through the process of purchasing a home, which he feels can, at times, be intimidating, was realized with his first sale. He sold an oceanfront property to an out-of-state couple with a young child. "I just knew from dealing with them that it was a perfect fit with lots of potential. I liked being part of helping a family make memories for years to come."

Marc has an Engineering degree from the University of Maine. During his time here he has built and managed over 20 vacation and year round rentals on the island. He has created several subdivisions in the process. This knowledge is invaluable to buyers thinking of making an investment on MDI. He is a wealth of information on the ins and outs of both being a landlord and marketing a vacation rental, to buying or building your dream home.

When Marc is not working, he enjoys hiking in the park, cooking, and frequenting the many great restaurants the island has to offer with his wife Victoria, and newborn son William.

Marc specializes in buyer agent, commercial, development, first time buyer, lakefront, land, oceanfront and residential transactions.

Marc is most familiar with the local real estate markets within and around the following zip code areas. See other realtors that service the same areas by clicking: 04605, 04607, 04609, 04625, 04640, 04646, 04664, 04674, 04675 & 04679
