For the past 40 years, Jon has lived and worked in the Damariscotta community. It had been a life-long dream to work in real estate and he has now fully realized that dream.
For much of the past four decades, Jon has had a master electricians license and worked as an independent electrical contractor around Midcoast Maine doing both commercial and residential work. Because of this occupation, Jon has an intimate knowledge of many of the buildings in the area and knows personally many of the homeowners and business owners.
Jon also served four terms in the Maine House of Representatives from 2004 to 2012 representing the people of Damariscotta, Newcastle, Edgecomb, Bristol, South Bristol and Monhegan. While campaigning, he knocked on every door in the district and got to know many more local residents. During his time in the legislature he was a member of the legislatures Insurance and Financial Services committee, Marine Resources Committee and House Chair of the Joint Select Committee on Regulatory Fairness and Reform.
Jon currently serves on the Lincoln Academy Board of Trustees. When he is not working in real estate, he enjoys golf, tennis, hiking, sailing and writing. He and his wife, Susan, have three sons and 5 grandchildren.
