Hudson is a small village located in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is situated on the east bank of the Penobscot River and is bordered by the towns of Glenburn, Kenduskeag, and Hermon. The village is primarily a residential area, with a few small businesses located along Route 221. Hudson is known for its scenic views of the Penobscot River and several nearby hiking trails, including the Hudson Forest Trail and the Bald Mountain Trail. The village also holds an annual Hudson Fest celebration every August, which includes food, crafts, music, and other family-friendly activities.
