Limington, Maine is a small town with a population of just over 3,700 residents. It was incorporated in 1792 and was named after Limington, England. The town has a rich history, with many old homes and buildings dating back to the 1800s still standing. Limington is known for its natural beauty, including the Saco River, which runs through the town and offers opportunities for fishing and boating. The area is also popular for hunting, hiking, and camping. The town hosts an annual blueberry festival in August, which features live music, food, and crafts.
