I'm a native of Drummond Island, located in Lake Huron, just East of Michigans Upper Peninsula. Growing up in this marine community set the tone for much of my adult life, having since then lived in several similar communities such as Hessel, and now Oscoda, MI. After high school I sailed as a Merchant Marine on numerous Great Lakes freighters for 12 years, starting out as Coal Passer and working up to Chief Engineer. I left the Merchant Marines in 1982 to attend college, earning an AS Degree in Cast Metals Technology and later a BA Degree in Business. For the next 30 years I worked corporate level sales and engineering positions supplying metal components to the heavy equipment industry. Corporate travels took me around the world many times, providing exposure to numerous countries, cultures, people, and values. With decades of global sales and marketing experience to call upon, I employ old fashion personal values with modern social media, marketing, and cutting edge advertising technology. You can expect HONESTY, RESPECT, SERVICE, AND A FIRM HANDSHAKE when you hire me! I retired from industry in 2012, moved back to Northern Michigan, and began selling real estate as a means of staying active and engaged with the community. Today my business is focused on properties which are on, or near the lake, with a specialty of helping senior citizens who want to downsize or relocate due to age.
