Retired high school science teacher (physics, chemistry, environmental science, astronomy and meteorology). I previously owned and operated Wild Oats Natural Foods, Golden Rule Child Care Centers, Kitchen Art, Inc. and the Granary on the Amos Farm. Graduate of Lansing Community College and Michigan State University. When my boys were growing up I was a Boy Scout Leader, Odyssey of the Mind coach, soccer coach and chess club coach. Avid participant in backpacking, camping, kayaking, rollerblading, yoga. Love to garden, travel, listen and dance to live music. Current volunteer with Meals on Wheels in East Lansing and Grand Ledge Emergency Assistance Christmas Food Basket Program.
