My name is Jennifer Schilp. I am a patent-owning, dog-loving, native Metro Detroiter, wife, mother of five, Detroit Tigers fan and full-time REALTOR who loves working with buyers to make their real estate dreams come true. From understanding your unique wants and needs to guiding you seamlessly through the entire search, negotiation and closing, I am here for you every step of the way.
As a proud member of the Hall & Hunter Realtors team I have the support of 90 fellow agents with more than 1200 years of combined real estate experience. Unlike most brokerages today our team previews newly listed homes three days a week so we are on top of inventory and latest properties to hit the market. I will be the person that de-emotionalizes the process in an effort to keep you on track toward your ultimate buying or selling goal. You will find that my client service and focus doesnt stop at closing. I have received moving trucks for clients, met contractors, recommended doctors and veterinarians and regularly provide referrals for reputable vetted services.
A core personal goal is to help people become smarter home buyers, so I also leverage my 20+ years in media relations to keep my media contacts informed about all things real estate so they can educate their audiences. Additionally, I have extensive relocation experience in the last 20 years as I have personally lived in six different residences three in the US and three overseas (Shanghai and Hiroshima). These moves provide me with a unique perspective and skill set to share with international and domestic transferees, as well as investment property owners (own two myself).
So how do you put my experience to work for you? Lets try out a professional relationship. I will make available a 3 to 5-day agent agreement to see if you think I am a good fit for you and your needs (vs a 90-day agreement which most agents require). If you find my information, production and insights valuable, you can extend with me. If not, you wont. Absolutely no pressure!
