I am a Michigan licensed attorney from Kalamazoo. I grew up in Otsego and have lived in Kalamazoo County for my entire adult life. I spent 11 years working in a corporate in-house role in a financial institution, dealing with matters in merger, contract, regulatory compliance, debt collection, lending, and human resource law. I loved my job but loved my 3 kids more, and made a career change to have some more flexibility with them.

Joining Jaqua felt like the perfect fit for me. For many people, buying or selling a home is frustrating, confusing, daunting -- however, this just sounds like a problem ripe for solving to me. I love people and helping them find the perfect house to make their home. My expertise as an attorney for a lending institution gives me a superior understanding of the specific technical issues related to effectively transferring ownership of real property, as well as the intricacies of mortgage financing that will help get my buyers and sellers into the right homes while remaining in the best possible economic position.

Further, if you are moving to a new area, my experience as a lifelong resident of beautiful Southwest Michigan gives me the advantage of knowing what pizza places will deliver to what address, where to park at which Lake Michigan beach, and where to go to watch the Lions game.
