Montrose is a small village in Michigan with a population of around 1,800 people. Its original name was Pewonagowink, and it was initially settled by the Ojibway tribe before becoming a fur trading post in the early 19th century. Today, Montrose offers a quaint downtown area, a historic district, and several parks for outdoor recreation.
