Bronson is a small village located in Branch County, Michigan, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,349. The village is situated in the southwestern part of the state, about 35 miles south of the city of Battle Creek.
Bronson was first settled in 1830 and was named after Addison Bronson, a prominent local judge. The village's early economy was based on agriculture, but in the early 20th century it began to develop a manufacturing sector, including the automotive industry.
