Eaton Rapids is a small city in the south-central part of Michigan. It is known as the "Island City" because the downtown area is surrounded on all sides by the Grand River. Eaton Rapids has a historic downtown district with many beautiful 19th-century buildings, including the English Inn, which was built in 1927 to resemble an English country house. The Miller Dairy Farm, which dates back to the 1800s, is also a popular attraction in the area. Eaton Rapids is also known for its annual Hometown Parade, which takes place in July and includes floats, marching bands, and other community celebrations.
